Resting in the Lord

Have you felt angry, even wrathful, lately?

What do we do with those turbulent emotions, with people who wrong us, with situations that seem to overwhelm us? How does God give us the peace, security, and confidence that we crave?

The fear of the Lord should be the basis for my thoughts and my actions…

An incredible example of … getting to witness the power with which God can speak when we let Him do the working.

God Is Faithful

What is it in your life that you don’t believe God will take care of?

The Bible is so full of references to God’s faithfulness that God must know we need reminders. Whether it’s a problem in the local church, in your finances, or your secret anxiety at work — we need to be reminded that God doesn’t forget about us.

Is there any delay when we go to [God] to confess our sins? There is no delay… He is forgiving, right away. He is faithful and just to forgive our sins.

He Is Our Trust

How many times have you heard someone say: “Just trust God for it”? Is that really what God wants from us?

It’s one thing to say that you believe God can do something that you trust Him for. It’s another thing entirely to make God, with His almighty strength, infinite wisdom, and perfect love the Person that you trust. No matter what.

It’s not only that we trust Him, it’s that He really is our trust.

How We Think About God

How do you think God feels about you?

The way you think about God actually changes the way you live every day. Using one of Jesus’s parables, Luke Harriman looks into how our view of God, our view of self, and our view of others impacts the way we live.

[God] is far greater than we think — but it doesn’t stop there. He is not only high above me, but He is merciful.
